About the Owner | Kodiak Specialty Services
Meet Cody Turney
Cody Turney picked up a welding torch as a teenager. After high school he joined the Marine Corps, where he kept right on welding and fixing whatever needed fixing. When he got out, he went back to the trade full time and kept adding to it — welding led to millwright work, millwright work led to refrigeration, and refrigeration led to HVAC. Most of those years were spent on the road. Cody traveled the country replacing ammonia piping and servicing refrigeration systems at food plants and cold storage facilities, the kind of work where a line going down brings a whole operation to a stop and the fix has to hold. That work is where Kodiak Specialty Services started. Cody went from working under other contractors to taking jobs on directly, and he has run the company for five years now. Today he is building Kodiak into a full mechanical contractor closer to home, expanding into HVAC so the company can serve homeowners and local businesses across central Arkansas, not just industrial plants. The standard has not changed. His name is on the work, and he means it when he says his word and his workmanship are the same thing.
